Summit Delivery Company is a contracted service provider for FedEx, meaning our drivers wear FedEx uniforms and deliver in FedEx trucks but are managed by Summit Delivery. We handle pay, benefits, health insurance, uniforms, scheduling, HR, and much more.

Apply Online
We are looking for experienced delivery drivers. If we like your resume, we will give you a call! Be sure to watch your email and texts for information from us about the next steps!
Complete the FedEx Application
1 application for us, 1 for them. FedEx wants to make sure you're a qualified driver. We will send you this after your initial application is approved.
Interview and Road Test
A thorough road test is conducted to ensure you will be safe in the truck. Be prepared to demonstrate backing and maneuvering skills.
Pass Background Check and Drug Screen
FedEx performs background checks that include your motor vehicle report (MVR) and criminal history. You will also go to get your DOT card if necessary.
Complete Onboarding Steps
You will be asked to fill out some personal information and watch some important safety training videos prior to your first day. We will use E-Verify to confirm your employment eligibility.
Come to Orientation!
Your first day with us will be in our head office in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. You will have a full day of training prior to starting at the FedEx terminal.
